Get Ready because I’m about to share a hack on how to turn a regular schmegular bowl of ramen into the most amazingly Creamy Spicy Miso Ramen right in your own kitchen. Ramen Hack

This hack is all about decking out a bowl of ramen. This hack works with ANY prepackaged ramen. Whether it be dried noodles or fresh ones. I usually get the Sun Noodle Brand Shoyu Ramen from Costco. It comes in a 4 pack with 2 servings a pack!
All you need is the noodles, we are going to make our own broth with just 4 simple ingredients! It’s so quick and so easy to make this delicious spicy miso ramen.
Ingredients!
For the Broth:
- 1.5 cups water
- 2-3 tablespoons of miso paste
- 2 tablespoons of gochugaru (korean chili flakes) or more depending on your spice preference
- 1 tablespoon of mirin
For the Ultimate Bowl:
- 1 serving of ramen noodles (go for fresh or dried, your call)
- A sprinkle of shredded cheese (adds a creaminess)
- 1-2 Ajitama Japanese boiled eggs, cut in half
- A small portion of kimchi
- A drizzle of sesame oil
- Fresh chopped green onions for that finishing touch
*All these topping are optional but soooo good together. Customize your favorite ramen toppings!

Instructions:
1. Let’s Build the Broth:
- Heat up a pot and pour in the water until it comes to a gentle simmer.
- Mix in the miso paste and chili flakes and stir until the miso is dissolved. Take off heat
2. Prep Those Awesome Toppings:
- While your broth is getting all cozy, cook up those ramen noodles according to the package. Drain and set them aside.
- Chop up some green onion and take the cheese and kimchi out of the fridge.
- Use already prepared Ajitama Japanese marinated eggs. Or Boil up those eggs however you like them —soft-boiled or hard-boiled. Peel and slice in half.
3. It’s Ramen Assembling Time:
- Place the cooked ramen noodles into your fave bowl.
- Ladle that sizzlin’ spicy miso broth right over those noodles. No holding back!
- Sprinkle on some shredded cheese. (The heat from the broth should melt it in a few minutes.)
- Get artsy with arranging the toppings!
- Drizzle some sesame oil to finish.
- And enjoy an EPIC noodle pull!
