Spicy Miso Ramen
This Japanese comfort food has totally won our hearts, and if you're anything like me, you're all about those bold and spicy flavors. Buckle up because I'm about to share a hack on how to turn a regular schmegular bowl of ramen into the most amazing Spicy Miso Ramen

1 small sauce pan
1 medium sauce pan
Broth:
- 1.5 cups water
- 2-3 tablespoons of miso paste
- 2 tablespoons of gochugaru korean chili flakes or more depending on your spice preference
- 1 tablespoon of mirin
Ramen:
- 1 serving of ramen noodles go for fresh or dried
- A sprinkle of shredded cheese
- 1-2 ajitama or boiled eggs
- A small portion of kimchi Optional
- A drizzle of sesame oil
- Fresh chopped green onions
Let's Build the Broth:
Heat up a pot and pour in the water until it comes to a gentle simmer.
Mix in the miso paste and chili flakes and mirin
Stir until the miso is dissolved. Take off heat.
Prep Toppings:
Boil eggs to your desired doneness
While your broth is cooking cook up those ramen noodles according to the package. Drain and set them aside.
Chop up some green onion and take the cheese and kimchi out of the fridge.
Assembling:
Place the cooked ramen noodles into a bowl.
Ladle the spicy miso broth right over those noodles.
Sprinkle on some shredded cheese. (The heat from the broth should melt it in a few minutes.)

Drizzle some sesame oil to finish.
