1 muffin tin
1 Rolling Pin
- 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
- 3 slices havarti cheese
- 1/2 mango thinly sliced
Step 1: Preheat Your Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure it’s hot enough to create perfectly flaky puff pastry.
Step 2: Prepare the Muffin Tin
Lightly grease a muffin tin with butter to prevent the puff pastry from sticking.
Step 3: Roll and Cut the Puff Pastry
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheet to smooth out any creases. Cut the puff pastry into 6 equal strips.
Step 4: Prepare the Havarti and Mango
Quarter the Havarti slices and thinly slice the mango.
Step 5: Assemble the Tarts
Take 1 strip at a time and place the Havarti strips along one half. Then place the mango slices on top of the Havarti as shown in the picture above. Fold the other half of the puff pastry strip over the filling and press gently to seal.
Step 6: Create the Rose
Carefully roll the strip to create the tarts. The curves of the mango should appear as a rose.
Step 7: Bake the Tarts
Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and puffed up.
Step 8: Cool and Serve
Once baked, remove the tarts from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. These tarts are delicious warm or at room temperature.
