Steak
- 1 ribeye, top sirlon or cut of your choice about 1-1 ½ inches thick
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 3 tbsp neutral oil
Chopped Salad
- 1/2 head of chopped lettuce
- 1/4 cup chopped cucumber
- 1/4 cup chopped cherry or grape tomatoes
- 1/8 cup chopped red onion
- 1/8 cup chopped curly parsley
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta or gorgonzola cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tbsp creamy caesar or vinaigrette dressing
Steak
Bring your steak to room temperature. About 30-45 minutes.
Pat steak dry with paper towel
Season both sides with salt and pepper and press in the seasoning
Rub a little bit of olive oil on both sides to coat
Heat your skillet or pan to Medium-High Heat and add in 2 tablespoons of oil
When the oil is hot add the steak and cook for 2½-3 minutes on each side for a medium - medium rare steak or 4-5 minutes on each side for a medium-well done steak. Take off heat and let rest for 10 minutes
Slice into bite sized pieces

While the steak is resting, chop all of the vegetables and place in a salad bowl with the crumbled cheese
Add lemon juice and dressing over the top and mix to combine.
